The Senior Manager of Systems, End User Compute & Mobility at Cooper’s Hawk leads a team responsible for the health, performance, and lifecycle of our compute environments—including restaurant systems, cloud platforms, corporate servers, end-user technology, and mobile devices. This role plays a critical part in enabling hospitality excellence through scalable, secure, and guest-centric technology solutions. You will drive strategy and execution across restaurant infrastructure, corporate systems, end-user devices, and mobility platforms while supporting innovation and efficiency across almost 70 locations and our Restaurant Support Center. The Business operates seven days a week nationally, and flexibility in working hours is required as needed to restore production services. What You’ll Do: Systems & Cloud Infrastructure
- Manage on-premises and cloud-based compute environments (primarily Azure) across corporate and restaurant systems.
- Oversee Microsoft Active Directory, Windows Server, patching compliance, file systems, backups, and identity platforms.
- Ensure system reliability, performance, and scalability to support Cooper’s Hawk’s rapid growth.
- Partner with Field Services for seamless deployment and management of restaurant back-office systems.
- Own lifecycle and uptime of restaurant technologies including POS (Simphony), KDS, BOH servers, and local infrastructure.
- Support technology provisioning and execution for new restaurant openings (NRO), retrofits, and remodels.
- Drive observability, remote management, and issue resolution across all locations.
- Lead strategy for endpoint management across desktops, laptops, tablets, and mobile devices (iOS/Android).
- Administer and evolve solutions like Microsoft Intune, JAMF, or other MDM/EMM platforms for device compliance and security.
- Standardize image deployment, user profiles, software packaging, and support documentation.
- Manage EUC lifecycle—from procurement and provisioning to repair, refresh, and disposal.
- Develop SLAs and escalation workflows with Tier 1 and Tier 2 support teams.
- Define and monitor KPIs for support performance, patching, system availability, and user satisfaction.
- Ensure business-hours and holiday coverage plans are in place for critical technology systems.
- Lead a team of engineers and specialists focused on system uptime, supportability, and innovation.
- Develop people through coaching, cross-training, and a strong service mindset.
- Manage vendor relationships and RFP processes for mobility, hardware, and managed services.
- Collaborate with restaurant leadership, service desk, security, and other internal partners.
- 8+ years of experience in systems and infrastructure roles, with at least 3 years in a management role
- 5+ years of deep experience with Microsoft technologies (Windows Server, Azure AD, M365, Intune/SCCM)
- Proven success in supporting distributed environments within the restaurant industry
- Strong understanding of MDM/EMM tools, mobile platforms, and EUC standards
- Experience with cloud infrastructure, backup solutions, monitoring tools, and endpoint hardening
- Familiarity with restaurant POS/KDS platforms (Oracle Simphony preferred)
- Understanding of ITIL-based processes, asset lifecycle management, and compliance reporting
- Experience supporting NRO processes and restaurant field operations
- Industry certifications (AZ-104, MDM certifications, ITIL Foundation, etc.)
- Experience in multi-unit environments (retail + restaurant) is a plus
